This workshop is for women, and will take place after the Rabbi̢۪s Tefilla shiur, 8:15- 9:30 pm, Tuesday, in the Simcha Hall. Most of us are so busy that we don̢۪t stop and contemplate the profound words of our prayers. As the Rabbi taught us in one of the Tefilla class sessions, the prayers were compiled by the Anshei K̢۪nesses Hagadola who were eloquent, connected to Hashem, and understood what words to use to communicate with the Master of the World. Let̢۪s tap into that wealth of opportunity to connect with Hashem in this writing workshop. We will choose a paragraph from davening and write it out word by word (in Hebrew or English). For each word or phrase, we will write a sentence or two about what the word means. The difference between saying or thinking something and writing it down is unbelievable!
