CHAI will be co-hosting the first information session and clinic in the State of Maryland with a new mortgage program to help homeowners facing foreclosure due to involuntary unemployment, underemployment or loss of income due to medical conditions. There are household income limits and other eligibility criteria, the program can loan the homeowner with up to $50,000 in assistance over 24 months to make the mortgage payments.
