SAVE THE DATE - APRIL 10, 2011 Join us for our first BT MITZVAH MILES 5K Run / 1Mile Family Walk. A fundraiser in support of Yad b'Yad. Register on line at http://www.bethtfiloh.com/mitzvahmiles or same day at 7am. The event will begin in the Beth Tfiloh High School parking lot and end with post-race refreshments. ABOUT YAD B'YAD: Several years ago, Yad b’Yad was created by a group of concerned Beth Tfiloh parents who wanted to help families in our school community who were dealing with unexpected challenges. Yad b’Yad is a chesed fund designed to help families with hardships resulting from the serious illness or death of an immediate family member, or other emotional or financial circumstance. Monies from the fund have been distributed through a carefully constructed process managed by an oversight committee, consisting of both school parents and the administration of the school.
