Description

Congregation Shomrei Emunah Presents Dr. Shalom Kelman The Lishkas HaGazis: Its Place and Purpose within the Temple Complex Sunday, March 13 7:30-8:30 PM in the Social Hall Though the Liskas HaGazis (The Hewn Chamber) is universally recognized as the seat of Sanhedrin, its exact location in the Temple Complex has come into question through the recently published Beit HaMikdash by Rabbi Z. Koren (Mesorah Publications, 2009). Join us as we analyze the roots of the controversy & gain an understanding of Sanhedrin's relationship to the Lishkas HaGazis. This dynamic PowerPoint presentation will be of special interest to Daf Yomi participants who recently studied Tractates Sanhedrin and Avoda Zara.
