PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN FROM ABUSE

Our children need love, attention, education, and guidance. They also need our protection. On MONDAY, MARCH 7, 2011, Rabbi Mark Dratch, National Founder & CEO of JSafe (Jewish Institute Supporting an Abuse Free Environment) will be speaking at BETH EL CONGREGATION and facilitating an open discussion for the community on PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN AT HOME, AT SCHOOL AND IN THE COMMUNITY. Rabbi Dratch will speak from both a Jewish and secular perspective about the nature and effects of abuse and neglect, how to recognize signs of abuse, how to report suspected abuse to the authorities, and how to prevent abuse from occurring. This program is open to everyone in the community. Parents, you are especially encouraged to come hear Rabbi Dratch’s talk, ask questions, and join the conversation – please come for the sake of your children.
